There are so many BI tools already. Chartio, looker, mode analytics, Periscope. They all fulfill the same needs (sharing data, charting etc) at different price point.
And in the open source land, Redash (https://github.com/EverythingMe/...) is mature and frankly, extremely good. (And they also do charting)

SlinkyDB's current functionality is similar to Heroku Dataclips. One thing we didn't like about Dataclips was that for people to query your database, they had to be a collaborator on your Heroku app. We think it shouldn't work that way, so we'll be working on simple and secure ways to control access to databases and queries.

A friend and I built SlinkyDB last week to solve the problem of getting data to business folks.
