How is this different from Slack 'Posts'? real question.

@allthingsmarco I can see that at the first sight Sliki Document and Slack Post can look similar. But, there are a couple of fundamental differences.
One difference is that Sliki gives you Wiki look&feel for something that is similar to Slack Posts, or as a matter of fact similar to any other post-like structure. This enables you, if you are for example new in some Slack team, to browse around Sliki Docs/Posts of that team, so that you can easily see important things.
Also, Sliki has more sophisticated search than Slack, because of parent-child categorization and tagging. This means that you can add Sliki Doc to some category, or subcategory, …, or subcategory of subcategory, and you can tag it with couple of tags, so you can search by category (with some keyword) and tags.] You can search from within Sliki, but also you can add custom slash command to Slack, so that you can search Sliki from within Slack.
- e.g. /sliki find guidelines category:design tags:someTag - So, you can search for all Sliki docs which contain keyword ‘guidelines’ and are in category ‘design’ and have tag ‘someTag’
- Also, you are given the option of creating multiple Wiki's with one Slack team. Every new Wiki you create will be a extension of your organization. This means that you can have multiple Slack slash commands and every command will search for Docs in different Wiki. e.g. /wiki1 find guidelines category:design tags:someTag
When you search Sliki it gives you result by relevance, not chronologically. For example, keyword which appears in a document title is more relevant than the same keyword in a content.
Also, soon, you’ll be able to upload attachments to Sliki Document. And, if you are geek, you’ll enjoy Markdown syntax :)
Sliki is unlike any other Slack integration I have seen so far. It helps me create Knowledgebase documentation right inside Slack. That's pretty useful.
