"Most mobile email clients store a copy of your inbox on their server. We don't." I'd like to know more about this. Why would an email client (say one that plugs into gmail) choose to store email copies? Is this really the most common strategy?

@ryanmac In my experience yes it's a common strategy. It improves performance. You have your cloud-based app mine Gmail for the mail and new stuff then you run algos on it in the cloud before pushing the mail to the client app. This makes jobs like finding contacts or calendar events etc. faster

That sounds really interesting! I love that it syncs within existing mail apps. Would love to know if/when it's coming to Android?

Isn't event recognition and people vs others something already well addressed by gmail?
