Hey everyone We're launching Skreno on Product Hunt on October 5, and I wanted to show one part early.
Skreno Studio records your screen and camera as separate tracks, so you choose the layout after you record: screen only, camera only, side by side or presenter. Then you cut silences and filler words, add animated captions and titles, and share one link that comes with a transcript and an AI summary. It all runs in the browser, with nothing to install.
We're the team behind EzyCourse, EzyCommunity and EzyStudio, and Skreno came out of watching our own customers juggle three or four tools just to make one walkthrough video.
Can I edit the captions manually if the AI gets some words wrong?
@anthony_adams_ Yes, you can edit and do replacing.. Also upload to youtube directly with AI generated meta data (just publishing this now)
Good Morning @sadek_hossain - I'm very excited for your launch of this. I am around for a lot of the day too! I have been using Skreno this morning for my You Tube channel and also inside my community. I cannot believe how much you have saved me a whole load of time. I've done five videos already and now due for another coffee! I'll be keeping my eye on your channel here. It's an amazing deal.
@helpwithdigital thanks Ady
Tried Skreno for making tutorials. It is smooth!
Editing studio makes it easy to publish the videos faster with not much editing skills. Can we publish directly to youtube?
@rafeeque_mavoor thank you
4K screen and camera as separate tracks, recorded live in a browser tab, sounds rough on anything but a recent laptop. a native app gets to use the OS compositor and hardware encoder, a tab is fighting the browser's own rendering and GC for the same CPU. what's a realistic recording length before people hit dropped frames or audio drift on a mid-range machine, and does that budget change much between Chrome and Safari
@galdayan thats true.. it tries to get the best possible resolutions and inside studio it gives pure 4k 60fps and it works better if you add your own clips. we are making native mac, windows and linux. Browser is limited.
I like that people can record a video without creating an account. That makes sharing feedback much easier.
@daniel_henry4 Thank you.
Recording the screen and camera as separate tracks is really useful. It gives you more freedom when editing video later.
@maali_baali Exactly and it works from browser. nothing to install
