I've been doing this for years with potential clients. With a JS snippet to change pages in real time Also my absolute favorite is Clone Zone What makes SiteMod different? Dope Design 🚬🚬🚬
@dredurr thanks for the comment. First of all, this is not a tool for the casual user. With you can save and share modifications from DevTools for any website without having access to the source code of the website. Clone Zone lets you modify titles and images on any website (tough https websites are not supported ...). Check out this video to get a better understanding of how powerful really is:
Here is a preview of your website with the AddThis widget: https://tinyletter-com-9217eb687... Also, it would be interesting to see how you solved the problem with your clients with just a JS snippet. 🤓
@luigimeclea Awesome thank you so much. I should of clarified... I would do a screen share with potential then change their site. They would have to make the changes on their own. My JS script just showed what things what would look like if they implemented the change.
@dredurr I see. I guess it's easier now just to share a link with your clients. Check this out https://tinyletter-com-e0e36375c... 👊
@luigimeclea That is DOPE! Incredible
How about a "Night mode" switch on PH @rrhoover? 🕶️ Here's a demo: https://www-producthunt-com-0e56...
Is it working right now? I tried with several website, but the loading spinner is turning and turning.
@sergioruizdavila thanks for the feedback, here it's working. The spinner disappears when the website is 100% loaded. I can try and see if there's a bug, I'm available on the live chat for further info:
@luigimeclea Ok, the concept is great. But it's a little bit confusing the workflow.
@sergioruizdavila could you please give me a feedback on how the workflow is confusing (what you feel it should be changed, how would it best work for you, what do you feel is missing, ...)? Thanks again! 🤖
Great stuff !! Does it work for non techie users ?
@ayush_chandra thanks! I think you need to have a minimum knowledge of how to work with plain HTML/CSS/JS.
Is it just me or does it appear not to work for internal sites? Seems like it won't let me modify a URL from a webservice on our intranet.
