The $19/mo alternative to enterprise solar software

The new Site Studio puts solar irradiance, flood zones, transmission lines, and grid hosting capacity on one interactive map. Enter any US address — the AI automatically analyzes the site, identifies the utility, and estimates solar potential using NREL data. What takes hours across multiple tools now takes minutes. Plans start at $19/mo — no per-project fees.

Hey Product Hunt! This is the second launch of solarscope.io.

Six months ago I launched a pretty simple tool — enter an address, get a basic solar potential estimate. It worked, but it wasn't much more than what you could piece together yourself.

Since then I've rebuilt the core of the app around Site Studio — an interactive map where you can toggle real data layers on a single view: NREL solar irradiance, FEMA flood zones, transmission lines, and grid hosting capacity. The idea is that evaluating a solar site shouldn't require jumping between five different databases.

Still a one-person project, still in beta, and still figuring out a lot. But the product is in a very different place than it was at first launch and I'd love for you to try it and tell me what's missing.
