Hey everyone, Harman here. Today I’m launching the tool I always wished existed. Posting a blog post for Astro, Hugo, or any static site shouldn’t be hard. Yet every time I wanted to write something, I had to open VS Code, carefully write frontmatter, fix YAML spacing, remember the exact date format, and hope nothing broke. Most decent CMS out there are paid. The free ones? Either clunky, bloated, or require an account. So I built exactly what I needed: Drop a .md file (or start fresh) → edit content + frontmatter with proper inputs → hit Download → drop the file straight into your repo. In my case, that’s GitHub Pages. Takes 10 seconds, zero friction. No sign-up, no tracking, no backend, works offline, 100% in your browser. That’s it. Create → Download → Deploy. Done. Try it here: https://simplecms.hira.im Would love to know if does this solve a real pain for you? What’s the one thing that would make you use it every time you write a post? Thanks for checking it out on my very first Product Hunt launch! Harman Singh Hira(solo maker from New Zealand)
