    Pros:

One click shorten with keyboard shortcuts.

    Cons:

Can be improved with an ability to shorten multiple links in one click.

I used AutoHotkey on Windows to shorten multiple links from clipboard and copy them back to the same position on clipboard. I wish this was possible with Short Menu app for Mac.

    Cons:

    You have to install it

As the founder of Rebrandly I’m delighted to see Short Menu featured on Product hunt. They built an integration with our link branding tool and our users absolutely love it. Great job guys! https://www.rebrandly.com/apps/short-menu

Hi Product Hunt! I'm Florian, the developer of Short Menu. After redesigning Short Menu for iOS earlier this year, we received incredible feedback from all our users. This proved to us that the new design language was the way to go and had to be brought to the Mac too. Today we're proud to present the all new Short Menu 3.0! It's more intuitive, easier to use and provides a much cleaner interface. It's also a big update in terms of Accessibility, I wrote something about that here: https://shrtm.nu/sdP1 You can download Short Menu from the Mac App Store or from its website, the latter option also includes a free 7 day trial. As a bonus for Product Hunt users, we're offering a 20% discount for one week starting today! Just apply the coupon 'producthunt17' during checkout on shortmenu.com or directly in the app.

@floschliep missed using this coupon code. saw this listing on Product Hunt, read the tagline and bought the app immediately. I wish I saw this coupon code earlier. :(

@floschliep @arunsathiya We're sorry to hear that :( Unfortunately, we can't refund apps bought using Mac App Store. We still hope that Short Menu will make your workflow a bit easier!

Din BisevacMaker@dinbisevac
@ayush_chandra Unfortunately, we don't plan to build a Windows 10 application anytime soon. :(

@ayush_chandra If you know a bit of code, you can do this with AutoHotkey for Windows.

Blacklisting certain domains that you consider shady at your own volition and not telling customers about it, that's deceptive. And no, I don't talk about those that you can change from the Preferences screen. If I knew that, I wouldn't have bought the software. Let's hope I find a way to get my money back...

@quad_bx I really don‘t know what you‘re talking about here, Short Menu doesn‘t blacklist „shady“ domains. Please use our contact form (appiculous.com/contact) to email us so we can figure out what‘s going on.

@floschliep Today it worked without issues. Yesterday it was giving me this: https://imgur.com/RndSH6P I will keep an eye on this behavior, and contact you when it happens again.
FlorianMaker@floschliep · Developer, appiculous.com
@quad_bx It‘s possible for a service (like bitly) to block domains, but that‘s out of Short Menu‘s control. Which service were you using?
