Congratulations looks great. I got that you're bringing in information from Google maps. Had you thought about including address as part of the visible data rather than just a link to the map? Also would be great to be able to choose which is the featured thumbnail image if there's more than one image. Great job this is definitely one to watch!

@rayhanw awesome I'll be looking out for the changes funnily enough I have a project in mind involving a guide for Bali so I fell off my seat seeing your example on the homepage! I'd love to see the ability to monitise guides as well..... build a text based ad selling facility into the app and you'll be on a double winner! Keep up the great work.

Hi @rayhanw congrats on the launch. Have you thought about turning this into a day planner where you can tick / mark off when you have been to the place? Think that might be useful to track, particularly on holiday. Also I had some trouble creating on my list, it wouldn't add to the list for some reason! It's a really good idea and will most likely use.

Hi @alberto_kehinde, thank you! I've kind of thought about it at the start. I was thinking of not necessarily a day planner, but just a feature where you can mark places that you've visited. But, I went against it cause I didn't think it was necessary for an MVP. Very sorry about the problem that you faced, unfortunately I couldn't reproduce the issue you were facing. Cheers!

Hey people👋 I live in a place where I meet new people very often and they come and go a lot. A question that I always get asked is "Hey, do you know any good place to go around here?". My answer would always be the same; yes, this place, that place, etc. I decided to create a (mobile-first) webapp (PWA) that will solve the issue that I face, and I want to share this with everyone. If you're curious on why it's called Sho-u/Sho·u. This is based on a word play that came to mind, initially I had thought of Shoyu (as in soy sauce). But I thought (with the help of a friend) that it might be a bit misleading as people might think that it's Japanese/Chinese specific (I was also designing the logo based around it). So, I decided to play around with it and came up with Sho-u. The flow was: Shoyu -> Sho(w) (yo)u -> Sho-u. Please enjoy it and let me know of your experience with the app😁 P.S. I haven't optimized this app too much for desktop, as I was solely-focused on making it as a mobile webapp only in the beginning. Cheers

@jay__sondhi Hi Jay! The collaborative aspect is the biggest difference here. Oftentimes, my girlfriend and I would share places that seemed interesting over messages, and we'd forget about it because it's been a while. This was another reason for me to build this webapp, where the both of us could just add places together. Cheers!

Hi Rayhan - You can collaboratively create and share lists of places using Google places lists. I’m still not sure, why someone would want to download an additional app to make and share lists, when they can do this directly in Google Maps - but open to be convinced
