Hey Product Hunt 👋 I'm Otabek, I make Shedi on my own (I also make Halo, a notch app). My MacBook kept running out of space, and every time the culprit was the same: Xcode simulators, DerivedData, Docker and node_modules. The big cleaners didn't know about any of it, cost a lot more, and wanted me to trust one giant Clean button. On my own Mac, Shedi's first scan found 21.5 GB. Hi Otabek, I had Claude clean up my MacBook: node_modules, caches and a pile of other dev leftovers. That freed about 100 GB, but I have to run pnpm i each time I open an older project, and it gets annoying.

Can Shedi preselect node_modules in projects I haven’t opened for a set time, like 30 days, and keep the active ones?
pnpm hard-links most of node_modules to its global store, so deleting the folders frees less disk space than their size suggests. Does Shedi count that when it shows the space I’ll get back?

Can Shedi preselect node_modules in projects I haven’t opened for a set time, like 30 days, and keep the active ones?
pnpm hard-links most of node_modules to its global store, so deleting the folders frees less disk space than their size suggests. Does Shedi count that when it shows the space I’ll get back?
