Hi, I'm İpek! I'm one of the founders of Serica. I've been personally involved in every step, from the initial idea to its design and development, so I'd be happy to answer any questions you have.

How Did Serica Come About?
It all started thanks to my friends who, like me, love journaling but mentioned the difficulties of carrying a physical notebook around. The extra space it takes up in a suitcase, the constant worry of "Did I remember to bring it with me?"... These problems probably sound familiar to you too.
One day, my partner and I thought, "Why don't we turn this into a digital journal that's always with us?" This way, we could access our memories anytime from our phones or computers and get rid of the worry of forgetting it. And so, Serica was born from our dream of solving the many problems associated with physical journals.

So, What Are Serica's Features?
While developing Serica, we added features that will make your life easier and your memories more precious:

✍🏻 Multimedia Support: Enrich your memories not just with text, but with photos, videos, and voice recordings that will make them more vivid.

📍 Location Tagging: We introduced the option to add a location to every memory so you don't forget where you were. A great feature especially for travelers to see their adventures on the map!

😃 Emojis and Tags: We added small but effective touches like emojis and tags to help you easily categorize your memories and find what you are looking for right away.

⭐️ Customizable Templates: We prepared ready-to-use templates to make your life easier, help you create a routine, or guide you on your inner journey. Moreover, you can completely personalize these templates to fit your needs.

💫 Shared Journal: You can use the shared journal feature to make a happy memory, a trip, or special days experienced with your loved ones more lasting. This way, you can create a shared folder where you can add both text and media together, and collect your memories together.
⌛️ Time Capsule: And one of my favorite features: Time Capsule! You can lock what you wrote until a specific date to surprise your loved ones or leave a note for your future self. When that date arrives, your lock will open automatically.
