Seed Solver

Seed Solver

A mentally stimulating puzzle game for Android

Seed Solver is targeted at adults as an antithesis of many modern mobile games which use repetitive, mind-numbing and time-wasting gameplay. The focus is on completing the puzzles within the time, not on flashy colours or constant player validation. The puzzles aren't designed to be overly hard, the difficulty comes with the time limit and switching between different puzzles types. In an age where many people are constantly multi-tasking, this game requires focus and concentration.

Hey Product Hunt!

This is Seed Solver, our first game. It’s an idea that’s been in the works for years and has finally come to fruition.

Within the game, the priority is very much the puzzles themselves, with the story based around the mysterious Professor Smith, who challenges the player to complete puzzles and find the hidden seeds to help preserve the genetic diversity of plant species. With ongoing climate changes and environmental damage around the world, the game spotlights this real-world issue that doesn't get enough visibility.

The puzzles are simple multiple choice questions, with maths, verbal reasoning, concentration and memory skills put to the test. Puzzles start off at the level a primary school child could answer, and gradually increase in difficulty to ensure the player can easily get to grips with the game-play (although it's pretty self explanatory). Different game types and question formats are introduced gradually to avoid overwhelm.

Features
- Multiple question types including maths, reasoning, memory, wordsearch
- 5 habitats, each containing almost 40 levels (Further habitats will be added soon)
- Daily play quick-fire question sets, including bonuses and streak monitoring
- Bonuses including player level-ups, perfect scores across levels, and daily levels played

This is still early days, we’ve got many more questions and levels to add with further story enrichment to come.
