Hey Hunters, As a small team of 6, we've been selling our help desk app, HelpSpot, into the enterprise for the last 12 years. We're bootstrapped and profitable since our first month in business. We compete with huge public companies and a zillion startup help desk apps. Selling into the enterprise is one of the key ways we've thrived for this long. How we do it is one of the things I get asked about most, so I decided to put together this short book that covers the basics. It's written from a bootstrapping perspective and is filled with a lot of practical advice on selling, but also on the nuts and bolts of HOW you actually work with an enterprise customers. How do you get paid? What is a purchase order? What about RFPs? I tried to cover some of the less glamours but extremely important aspects of working with enterprise customers.
