The backstory: A few months ago I launched CubicLog here on Product Hunt. It was my first attempt at solving a problem that drove me crazy: why does logging have to be so complicated? ELK stacks, Grafana/Loki configurations, or $50/month SaaS bills just to see what's happening in my side projects? Overkill. CubicLog worked. But I knew I could do better. So I rebuilt it from scratch. SCRIBE is the evolution. Same philosophy, better execution. Here's what changed: 📦 Still one binary (~15MB). Download, run, done. No Docker required. No npm. No config files. 🧠 Smarter pattern matching. Send any JSON, SCRIBE auto-detects severity from content. "HTTP 500" → error. "Payment completed" → success. Zero parsing rules needed. ⚡ Honest performance numbers. I benchmarked everything and I'm sharing the real limits: 150 logs/second stable, 12.9M logs/day capacity. Not marketing fluff — actual test results in the README. 📊 Real-time dashboard. Beautiful dark mode UI with live SSE updates. Filters, search, export to JSON/CSV. 💾 SQLite storage.
