tl;dr what ScribblePadGames is?... Imagine sitting in a restaurant waiting for your order — kids are getting bored and nervous, you don’t want to hand them your phone, and there’s nothing to do.
This is where ScribblePadGames comes in.
ScribblePadGames are set of simple pen-and-paper games like Battleships, Labyrinths, Boxes, or Soccer. They fit in a bag, need only a pen, and turn waiting time into playtime. fun.
Available as printable PDFs for endless offline fun or as tear-off notepads.
It all started when my son asked me about the games I played when I was his age. He looked surprised that we had no video games then. After introducing him to pen-and-paper games I played at school, we started designing ScribblePadGames together.
We now carry them everyevere with us - at the restaurant, dentist waiting room you name it.
Our games are even used in school, where kids play them in free time, creating small competitions. The same games I played over 30 year ago are back again in school and somehow winning against smartphones.
It’s 100% screen-free, ad-free, and AI-free — just a bit of offline fun we designed together.
We’re currently testing different game sets and packaging ideas. Feedback on the concept, design, or even the “offline-first” philosophy is very welcome.
