Screen Doctor

Lightweight Screen Lines and Pixel Fixer Utility Tool

Screen Doctor is a lightweight desktop utility designed to help, revive and prevent dead pixels or lines on LCD and LED displays. It works by displaying a modular, customizable canvas that rapidly cycles through random colors in every pixel to stimulate inactive pixels. The app allows precise control over the canvas' size, position, and behavior.

Hi guys,

I built Screen Doctor after dealing with stubborn dead pixels and annoying screen lines myself and realizing there wasn’t a simple, lightweight tool that just did the job perfectly.

I made this lightweight, fast utility tool using Tauri framework with React at frontend and Rust at backend.

Screen Doctor helps you:
Fight dead pixels, stuck pixels, and screen lines.
Run full-screen color cycles to revive stuck pixels.
Prevent further degradation of your display.
It’s free, open-source, and runs fully offline as a native desktop app.

I’d love your feedback. Especially:
Does this help diagnose your screen issues?
Any features you wish existed for display testing?
Ideas to make it more useful for designers, developers, or everyday users?

Thanks for checking it out, and happy to answer any questions 🙌
