Scattered Secrets is a password breach notification and prevention service. We continuously collect publicly available hacked databases and crack the corresponding passwords. Verified account owners can access their own information and take appropriate action to keep their accounts safe.
Awesome service by Dutch Cyber Security expert @uid_ - similar services like 'Have I Been Pwned?', who do not provide password details of your breached accounts: in many cases a hit just means that your email address is in a SPAM list and no passwords were stolen or passwords are not crackable. Without passwords it is difficult or impossible to assess the real-life risk.
When you enter your email on Scattered Secrets it will tell you how many of your passwords are known, and you can see them after creating an account.
Tip: If you use a password manager you can probably search for the actual that has been hacked and see all the accounts for which you used it - I had to change 20+ accounts! 😭

Apparently, I am okay but my boss (fairly unsurprisingly) has several breaches. That’ll be a fun conversation this morning. :)
