This Pulitzer-prize winning book is amazing. It deconstructs the timeline and methods employed by the mega food companies and how they replaced nutritionists, dietitians, food experts with chemists with a mission to make food cheap and addicting. It also gives the rationale behind why the bulk of Americans started becoming obese around the 90s until today.
