Sage offers something I've been raging on everytime I'm trying to shop for better products for me to eat: exhaustive information on labels.
We are getting better at it, and in some regions (I know it's happening slowly in Europe), legislations are voted to force food processing companies to provide more information on product labels. But things are slow.
Here is where Sage is useful: they provide you with complete information about products, and they do it with a very nice design, illustrations and beautiful photography.
They even provide a layer of personalisation to the content: by telling a few things about you (size, weight, age, food allergies, particular diets), they will give you related information (or warnings/advice) about a product.
They have information about basic, non-branded food (raw food for example, carrots ^^). They also have some brands on board, and more to be added in the future I'm sure.
One day, labels on product will be as good as these. Until then, Sage will do the trick !
