I’m a native Russian speaker, and I built Slovo for people learning Russian.
While helping friends study the language, I noticed a recurring problem: dictionaries explain what a word means, but not how it’s actually used. Learners struggle with nuance, context, and subtle differences between similar words.
So I built a tool that combines:
• A structured dictionary of 10,000 essential Russian words
• Built-in spaced repetition for memorization
• AI Assist for generating clearer explanations and additional examples when needed
As a native speaker, I care a lot about accuracy and natural usage. The base definitions are structured intentionally, and AI is there as a support layer and not a replacement.
