Thanks for hunting us, @williamchanner! Hey hunters - my name's Alec and I'm the co-founder of RookieUp. We're so excited to be launching RookieUp, a platform designed to help aspiring creatives everywhere find and connect with mentors in areas like Visual Design, UX/UI Design, Photography, Motion Graphics, Illustration, and more. We built RookieUp because we know first-hand how difficult it can be to find a mentor, especially if you're trying to break into a totally new industry. A year ago I was teaching myself front-end development and UX design but kept getting stuck on the smallest issues because I didn't know anyone in the creative industry I could turn to for help. Our goal is to democratize the process of finding a mentor so anyone anywhere can connect with the right expert at the right time to answer their questions, provide quality critique, and help them accomplish their creative goals. To celebrate our launch, we're offering hunters 10% off their first session with code PRODUCTHUNT10. Thanks for reading and let us know what you think. We'd love to hear your feedback. We're also always on the lookout for new mentors to join our platform, so let us know if you're interested! -Alec and Sydney
@alecmcguffey @sydneyligouri I'd love to become a mentor! :) How does the process work exactly...this looks absolutely amazing! I can only imagine how different my path would have been without some amazing mentors in my life.

Cool idea, reminds me of @dustin's Out of Office Hours project. Also cc'ing @hemeon from Design Inc.
