Hey Product Hunt, I’m Kyle. I built Ritus because I got tired of habit trackers that feel either paywalled, bloated, or weirdly unclear about what happens to your data. I also wanted a habit tracker that works as a proper web app, not only as a phone-only native app. At first I thought “simple” meant barebones. While building, I realized what I actually wanted was simple usage, but strong visuals. So the project evolved into a tracker that stays calm to use day-to-day, but still gives you clear overviews and stats. One feature that surprised me is “emoji of the day.” It came from an earlier mood-tracking idea, and I almost didn’t include it. But a single emoji ended up being enough to make the history feel human and helped me notice patterns between how I felt and how consistent I was. Ritus is free, open source, works offline as a PWA, and doesn’t require an account.
