Hey Product Hunt 👋 We're Tavis, Johnny, and Adrian from reviewr.ai
Finding and researching good products can be very time-consuming and frustrating. Whenever we want to buy a product, we waste hours reading reviews and comparing products.
Wouldn't it be great to have a service that does all this for me?
That's why we built the reviewr.ai
💩 Problem:
According to our survey (https://www.buyforlife.com/blog/...), there are many points of frustration with product research, but these are the biggest ones:
- Sponsored content / Ads
- It takes time
- Fake reviews
- Inconsistent information across sites
88% of all consumers check reviews before they buy. This is a major opportunity for businesses to get their products in front of customers before purchasing.
On average, people visit five websites for product research. People spend many hours or even days reading reviews and comparing products.
💡 Solution:
reviewr.ai aggregates online product reviews and provides AI-powered analysis. It's like having a team of people researching products for you.
Our mission is to make product research less complicated, more transparent, and less time-consuming for end-consumers.
Here is how it works:
- Collecting reviews from trusted sources on the web
- Data cleansing
- Rating reviews by relevance and helpfulness
- Keyword extraction and sentiment analysis
- GPT-3 generation of a brief and concise summary of all the reviews

🔮 Upcoming:
- Fake detection by running statistical analyses to spot discrepancies and contradictions among reviews
- Analyze unstructured data from sources like Youtube or Reddit
- Analyzing location reviews
- Providing more in-depth summarization
- Building a review search engine
For a limited time, we’re offering a free trial of our service. Check it out.
Let us know what you think!
Most review sites just collect reviews from marketplaces like amazon, so it's nice to know that reviewr summarizes reviews from places such as G2 as well!
Congrats on the launch!
@liza2 thanks, we fixed it.
To answer your other question:
Fake reviews are a big challenge that even big platforms like Amazon don’t have under control.
We’re running statistical analysis to spot discrepancies and contradictions among reviews and filter out fake reviews. In addition, we’re adding weight to reviews from trustworthy sources like Reddit and Wirecutter.
By calculating the similarity between reviews or even sentences, we’re able to cross-reference reviews across multiple reviews and sources. This will further increase the confidence.
It will look like that:
"Durable and water resistant" Verified by 10 reviews from 3 different sources
