I built it because every time I wanted to retouch one photo I had two bad options: install a multi-gigabyte desktop suite, or upload my picture to a service I don't control. Neither felt right for a five-minute job. RetouchPi is the third option: a real editor that runs entirely in your browser. Layers, masks, curves, clone stamp, PSD round-trip, portrait retouching, ID photos - 52 tools - and nothing ever leaves your machine. There is no upload button, because there is no upload. The web version is free, exports carry no watermark, and there are no size or usage limits. That is not a launch-week promotion; it is how it is built.
