Hey everyone! A few weeks (or months) ago, I came across a post from Greg Isenberg on LinkedIn, where he shared a list of profitable startup ideas for 2025. I usually skim through these kinds of posts without taking them too seriously—after all, if an idea is that profitable, why share it instead of building it yourself, right? 🤷‍♂️ But one idea caught my attention: a GitHub repository analyzer that helps investors spot early acquisition signals. I kept thinking about it, brainstorming with ChatGPT, and eventually decided to build a quick prototype just to see where it could go. So far, I’ve been fetching GitHub repositories daily and have built a pretty large database of growing open-source projects. But now, I’ve hit the classic solo founder dilemma: Is this actually useful for my intended audience? I originally aimed this at investors, but it could also serve a completely different type of user. That’s why I’m posting here—I’m not trying to promote anything or get users, just genuinely curious to hear your thoughts. Does this sound like something that could be valuable? Am I even targeting the right audience? I’d appreciate both positive and negative feedback. 💭 If you think you could help me in some area or want to collaborate, feel free to reach out! If anyone is interested in testing it, I have some beta keys available. 🗝️ Keep in mind development is still in progress, so a lot of things still need improvement. I know this isn’t an AI tool just because it has an LLM integrated, but these days, it feels like a must-have feature. Thanks for reading, and keep building! 🚀
