Your phone is already recording, you just don't know it. ReplayR runs a rolling video buffer, so the last 45 seconds to 12 minutes is always there. Tap the screen, press your watch, or raise an open palm to the camera, and the clip of the past moment is saved! Mount it on a tripod and forget it's running. Built for sideline coaches, sports parents, and athletes tired of missing the play. No cloud upload, no account, no subscription, one-time unlock.

Hey PH 👋 Erwan here, solo mobile dev.
ReplayR exists because I kept missing the moment. My kid's goal, the dive, the perfect serve by the time I pulled the phone out and hit record, it was over. Recording the whole match instead just gave me 90 minutes of footage nobody will ever scrub through.
So the ideas of ReplayR is to flip this: the camera is always recording into a rolling buffer.
The last 45 seconds to 12 minutes is sitting on your phone at all times. When something happens, you save it ... after the fact.
What changed while building it: I assumed tap-to-save was enough. It isn't. The phone is on a tripod 10 meters away and you're coaching, or your hands are full. So the trigger became the hard part, not the buffer. Now you can tap, press your smartwatch, or just raise an open palm to the camera and it clips.
The app also contains a frame-by-frame analyser allowing you to dig on a specific moment of an action and annotate some specific frame with findinds.
Built it for my own sideline, turns out it attracted many users already with very different and uexpected use cases.
