Like it! A reminder helps for me, but I won't see it with 100 tabs on my laptop.

@vibin_arav Thanks for your comment! That is a great point. A colleague of mine suggested adding a sound notification when it is time to stand up. Personally I prefer to get a visual reminder rather than an audible one, so I run the app in fullscreen on my secondary display, but it might make sense to allow for a sound as an optional setting for users using the site inside their regular browser along with other tabs.

@filipjakobsen Sound might work especially if it's a gentle reminder. I again wouldn't want to find the tab to turn it off. I like the visual reminder too. How about a notification on desktop? You can build other interactivity too once you engage.

@vibin_arav Thanks for your comment! That is a great idea. We will have to look into that, and whether it is possible in a consistent manner without wrapping the site in a desktop app.

We made this to give ourselves an aesthetic, visual reminder to get up and move every hour. After 50 minutes the triangle points upwards to remind the user to stand up, and the colors change to draw the user’s attention, if they are looking somewhere else. The duration can be changed by changing the number in the url — e.g. by changing remindEvery=50min to remindEvery=30min

@filipjakobsen Haha definitely something every startup entrepreneur needs!
