I created this because I was tired of "subscription fatigue," cloud-tethered apps, and privacy-invasive telemetry just to remove a background or crop an image. I wanted a professional design tool that lives locally on my machine. Refloow Photo Studio is a 100% offline desktop application. The core background removing AI is a bundled U-2-Netp model that runs entirely on your CPU, meaning no API calls and no data ever leaving your device. It includes drag-and-drop layering, 40+ filters, and a custom export pipeline for high-fidelity images. It’s completely free and open-source (AGPL-3.0).
