Download Recall for macOS. Real-time call live transcription without bots, smart clipboard manager, live music & video activities with lyrics, temp shelf, live atmospheric weather, and floating desktop widgets for Mac. Apple Silicon and Intel.

Hey Product Hunt! 👋
I built Recall to make the Mac’s notch actually useful.
Instead of having six different utility apps open throughout the day, Recall brings them together in one native macOS experience — call transcription, clipboard history, music controls, a temporary file shelf, weather, and floating widgets.
The feature I’m most excited about is call transcription. Recall captures system audio and microphone input directly on your Mac, so there’s no meeting bot joining your Zoom or Google Meet call. The transcription runs locally on-device.
Recall works on both Apple Silicon and Intel Macs and is available as a one-time purchase rather than another subscription.
I’d love to hear from other Mac users:
What would you put in your Mac’s notch if you could?
Can I search old transcripts by word later?
@thomas_wazza Not yet, but I’ll be adding this feature soon! You’ll be able to search old transcripts by keyword. Thanks for the suggestion!
The local, no-bot transcription is the part that caught me — capturing system audio and mic directly on the Mac instead of adding a bot to the call is a big difference. How does it tell speakers apart when both sides are mixed into one capture? And on Intel Macs, does the same on-device model run locally, or is the transcription workload different there?
@jcbuilds Great question! Recall captures system audio and microphone input separately, which helps identify and distinguish speakers even when both sides are part of the same conversation. The goal is to keep the entire transcription process local without requiring a meeting bot or cloud-based recording.
Regarding Intel Macs, we're still working on optimizing performance across different Mac architectures. The processing requirements may differ depending on the hardware.
Thanks for your interest!
