The Guardian ( dubs RealPlayer Cloud as the "Dropbox for video." Furthermore: "RealPlayer is launching itself as a new Cloud service that will allow users to post and share video for free, and make it accessible on any device." I have 60+ hours of home videos from elementary through college. I've uploaded snippets to YouTube, ensuring they're not indexed (I hope no one finds them) so that I can share with friends and family, but it's far from ideal.

I've been subscribed to Real for about two years now. I got sick of losing hard drives at home. So I decided to find a service I could use to back up all of my video and photos without draining my bank account. Here's what I like about Real. 1. It's cheap. $9.99 a month for unlimited video and photo storage. 2. It works with Chromecast and streams nicely. 3. It can automatically backs up all the photos and videos from my phone and any other mobile device I use or have my account logged in on. For example, I set it up on my wife's phone. Now I never miss a video or photo she takes of the kids while I'm at work. What I don't like about Real: 1. Album management could be better 2. It's not as sophisticated as Google, Facebook's or Amazon's facial recognition. Real has come a long way since just being an audio player. Right now, I think this is a hidden gem and I hope more people discover what it has to offer.
