Made this after realizing I read way more when someone's watching (in a good way). Your book can't send you notifications, but your friends can. ReadCircle is a shared feed for what you're reading: you log, your circle sees it. They read, you get a nudge. The accountability of a book club, without the meetings.
Love this idea, the social accountability angle is so smart. One thing I'd love is a weekly recap notification that summarizes what your circle finished and started, makes it feel like a tiny book club digest instead of just a stream.

Love the accountability angle here. One thing I'd want is a weekly digest or summary for my circle, like a short recap of who finished what and what people thought. Right now I might miss updates if I'm not checking the feed daily, and a little weekly nudge would keep the social pressure going without needing to open the app constantly.
@sudenur68qt Thank you for the feedback! You kind of read my mind: a weekly circle recap is literally what I'm building right now. The idea is a short digest of who finished what, who started what, and progress across your circle, so the social loop keeps working even if you don't open the app daily. I'll ping you here when it ships. I would love your take on the first version of it.
Logging my current book felt like a tiny commitment, and seeing what two friends picked up today already nudged me back into mine.
