👋 Hey Product Hunters! Bhanu here—founder of @SiteGPT and previously @Feather (which I sold a few months ago to go all-in on AI). We built RAG pipelines to power AI-driven customer support for 100+ small and large businesses. Along the way, we faced every challenge imaginable. That’s how RAGaaS.dev was born. Building AI apps with RAG is unnecessarily hard. Here are some of the challenges we faced: 🌐 Ingesting web pages or sitemaps is tedious. 🖨 OCR tools fail on complex PDFs and images. 💾 Embedding costs skyrocket with no control over data. 🔐 Legal/privacy concerns delay deployments. 🛠 Infrastructure setup takes months instead of days. We built RAGaaS.dev to solve these problems—for us, and now for you. It’s an API-first platform that handles the heavy lifting of RAG pipelines. Here’s what RAGaaS.dev does: 🔌 Seamlessly connect data from Google Drive, Notion, Dropbox, Box, OneDrive etc. 🌐 Easily ingest web pages—add URLs, sitemaps, or let us crawl your website. 💾 Keep control of data by storing it in your own storage and Pinecone database. 🔎 Perform hybrid search—semantic + keyword for precise results. 🖨 Process scanned PDFs and images with 99.9% OCR accuracy. 🚀 Deploy in 15 minutes with 2 simple API calls (ingest + search). What makes RAGaaS.dev different from others: 🧑‍💻 API-first—built for developers, no dashboards or GUIs. 🔐 Privacy-first—your data never leaves your infrastructure. 🌐 Includes web ingestion for URLs, sitemaps, and website crawling. 🛠 Built on the battle-tested infrastructure that powers SiteGPT.ai. ✨ Special PH Launch Offer: First 100 Product Hunters get 50% off for the first month with code PHFRIENDS. We’d love your feedback—let us know what you think about RAGaaS.dev! Ask questions, share your challenges, or tell us how we can help. P.S. What’s the hardest part of building RAG pipelines for you? 🚀

@sitegpt @feather @pbteja1998 About time we saw something like this. I'm doing my masters in data science and that means I need to play around as much as possible with ML and AI. One of the key things here for me would be scraping URLs for market research to build a base for my models. Good luck with the launch folks

@sitegpt @feather @shivamchhuneja That is great to hear. Looking forward to seeing you use it!

Congrats on the launch! 🎉 The hardest part for RAG for me was the cost of crawling webpages, mostly from the need of proxies and the fact that some pages have a lot of HTML, so it takes multiple conext lengths to parse.
Bhanu Teja Pachipulusu
@cristy94 There are many SaaS products available these days to make web scraping easy. For example, Firecrawl is one which is very good.
