Hey ya'll, we have been hard at work on Radar for the past few months and it is nowhere near ready for prime time but we are at 448 users and applying to YC tomorrow - so it's time! I'm Ken, and Radar is my dream community. I have traveled to 40 countries, lived in 7 large cities on 3 continents and I still struggle to find community where I'm at, wherever I am. That's why we built Radar. Radar is a local social network. That means that when you join, you are dropped into a local group chat with people who are physically close to you right now. SADLY it's only available in the USA at the moment, but we plan to go global next year - the challenge is our shape files & global access wasn't ready for MVP. We are full of bugs, have tons more features coming but we are looking for feedback. Our target market for this app are groups and group leaders. We have conviction that

Congrats on the launch! Love your launch note and I definitely relate :) Would love to hear about how it 'finds' proximate people + guards privacy? Going global is also exciting, will use at that point :) (Wrt Feedback - There's decent search volume for nearby/find nearby devices/find chat/etc, might be worth adding more to landing page for SEO?
