I built a Residency Portfolio to overcome the limitations of tracking my occupational medicine residency activities in Excel. Managing a complex training program through spreadsheets became cumbersome, inefficient, and lacked the flexibility I needed for proper documentation and reflection. I wanted a more intuitive, accessible, and structured digital tool that could adapt to the evolving demands of medical training in Italy. My goal was to create a practical solution. I chose to release it for free under a BSD license just in case this tool can simplify residency tracking for even one other doctor, it will have fulfilled its purpose. It’s designed to be a living document, evolving with the user, and contributing to more effective, transparent, and personalized medical training.
