Congrats on both of you. This is indeed a very nice idea, in the direct continuity of landen and hyperping. I have a few questions: - How do you balance your time between your own product and the product you both built? - What stack did you use? (very curious about back, infra, database) - I guess you stress-tested your app before launch, any order of magnitude of the load you can handle right now? Again congrats 👏👏👏, I am impressed by the time it took you to launch such a polished product!

@pierre_dwf Thanks Pierre! On balance, I'll just speak for myself: I usually don't have a time issue working on Landen since I'm on it full-time. It's more of motivation/focus thing and taking a month to focus on something else gives me inspiration and energy to bring Landen to the next level as well. It also helps that we picked an idea for our new project that can be feature-complete in the foreseeable future (unlike a website builder 😅). Stack: since we're getting a lot of questions about this I think we'll write a blogpost on it in a couple of weeks, since it'll still have to prove itself. But in short we use Redis, PostgreSQL, timescaledb, and go. Scale: We did load-test and benchmark the backend, but we focussed more on having a small and focussed setup that we can scale easily. For now we're still on pretty weak infrastructure which we'll scale vertically for a bit and then horizontally. How many events we can handle with your current instances will become apparent once we get more load. Everything is sitting at about 1-2% cpu usage and low memory right now. Even with load testing we didn't get close to the limit.

@leo_bqecker hey credit where it is due. I review pretty much every PH posting (just because I'm sad like that) and there are some excellent products here. But its very rare for me that you see something that hits the perfect triangle - clear problem to solve, well executed solution, and instantly marketable due to pricing. This product should do extremely well. As an aside its also pushed me straight into Hyperping (which I wasnt aware of!) and I'm loving that too - in the 30 minutes since my last post I've created a status page of 15 services. Thats just ridiculously easy.

Couldn't find any simple (really simple) suitable solution for hyperping.io (my 1st business) to track basic things like: - how many pings an hour - how long each database query takes to process - total amount of db connections without pulling crazy SQL queries Felix did the cool video! He uses Screenflow (which is suuuper easy to use)

This is cool, congrats on the launch guys! Two questions: 1) How did you know you wanted to work together? Did you bother with any legalities or just both jump in based on trust? 2) Your example dashboard only has graphs, do you offer any other types of info display (e.g. just a number, like active users on GA). I've looked at finding a simple, customisable analytics dashboard before, so will bear this in mind next time I need one.

@fredrivett Thank you Fred! Good questions. 1) The bootstrapped, "solopreneur" journey can be lonely sometimes so we naturally started to talk to each other! Felix was actually a customer of my 1st business (hyperping)! It is obviously by trust that we started building this (we're also sharing the same apartment for a whole month together 😂), we'll talk legal once it is making some consequent revenue so we can focus on the product first! 2) We're planning to add more customisable charts such as stacked bars, bar charts, counters etc! Let us know, curious to hear about your feedback!
