Hey, I am Joshua Lead Dev and Co-Founder of Project Yoked. We where originally inspired to create this platform because we felt like social media was too distracting. Inappropriate content was constantly shoved in your faces, videos about exercises, health, diets where scattered with most being made just for clicks/views that didn't actually help and just skewed what you should really being doing. Just overall social media was a mess when it came to trying to change your life, workout, get fit, healthy, loose weight. Whatever the goal was. So our original idea was to build a Fitness Social media platform with strict guidelines and rules on what was allowed. Overtime this vision in the course of a year went from a simple social media platform to a full fitness/workout tracking platform plus social media. We wanted to make it easier for everyone watching videos, and sharing there thoughts or stories to also track or connect there fitness to it. It evolved into what it is now which is a Fitness Social Media & Tracking platform. We thought what if users didn't have to have multiple apps, pay multiple subscriptions, and if everything could just be combined into one app where videos could link to exercises, you could visualize and even share your journey.
