#4 Product of the DayFebruary 21, 2018

Inspired by Product Hunt, this no-code template built on Bubble can be used to "hunt" & discuss anything by the application audience - in other words, to crowdsource notable products\services\points of interest & get honest feedback from the community about those. Save both time & sanity over coding a copy of what the PH masterminds have worked up.

Hello Product Hunters! It’s no secret that at Zeroqode, we love Product Hunt. We follow the latest launches, engage in community discussions, and launch our own no-code products here almost every week. We build our products without code on Bubble - the most advanced no-code platform. Emmanuel Straschnov (@estraschnov) - the co-founder of Bubble in his recent interview to Product Hunt ( mentioned that it’s probably possible to build Product Hunt on Bubble without code. And he might be mad at us for doing this (sorry Emmanuel :)), but here it goes - a Product Hunt inspired community sourcing website built without code today on Product Hunt :) To make one obvious thing very clear - we are in no way trying to copy, infringe rights or in any other way harm or replace The One And Only Product Hunt. We just love it so much that we thought that some of the great ideas that PH team has brilliantly executed can be enhanced and shared with the community - without code of course. So what we’re sharing today is actually a quick and codeless way to begin or boost your online community with a web app in your own niche or market. Inspired by Product Hunt, this no-code template built on Bubble can be used to "hunt" and discuss anything by the application audience - in other words, to crowdsource notable products\services\points of interest and get honest feedback from the community about those. Save both time and sanity over coding a copy of what the PH masterminds have created I’m sincerely wondering what @rrhoover will think about this, and truly hope he doesn’t take it personal and won’t sue us, as this product is a real tribute to what he and his team has created :) What do you think about it? We are excited to hear your feedback and comments and will be around all day to address them Looking forward, Levon from Zeroqode

@levon377 we've seen a few other "PH clones" built on top of Wordpress and other platforms. At first glance this seems to be well made. 👍🏼

@rrhoover Thanks Ryan, glad you liked it :)

@levon377 not sure how your customers will build such a stellar community without the tight product feedback loop that @rrhoover manages... Especially if they can't write code to adapt the product to their specific needs. My question is: who needs this and how would they best use it effectively when Product Hunt offers such a vibrant, rich, deep, and evolving set of tools to launch a product and grow it?
LevonMaker@levon377 · Founder, Zeroqode & Bubblewits
@rrhoover @chrismessina Thanks for the question Chris, the goal is not to motivate people compete with Product Hunt, but rather empowering them to create products with similar concept of hunting, upvoting and discussing. Take a look for example at the product that we ourselves built on top of this template only in about 2 weeks - it's a library of API collections for postman - and we even hunted it We think that the template can be used in hundreds of different ways. Building community requires a combination of tools - powerful technology is only one of the important components - and we want to simplify that part so people can focus on other things instead. Makes sense?
LevonMaker@levon377 · Founder, Zeroqode & Bubblewits
@rrhoover @chrismessina and by the way, forgot to answer your point that the product can be adapted to customers' needs without writing code. That's the whole point of this, otherwise we wouldn't build this.

@vlad_larin @levon377 - I have been following Zeroqode from last October and I am also a subscriber of I have few questions (few are general to all your templates) - Will I be able to create categories and subcategories? - Will I be able to enable to social logins? - Apart from purchasing the template, what else is required to go live and what would be the other costs involved? - Will you provide assistance in case we need help/changes while using your templates? - For what else can a template like this one be used for? Thanks for making it easier for folks who don't know coding with Zeroqode :)

That looks pretty cool, thanks for sharing it @levon377 and @vlad_larin! I actually have similar questions as @adithya there and would appreciate a detailed reply. Thanks!

@vlad_larin @adithya @dkornyukhov Hey guys, thanks for your interest. Here are the answers to your questions: 1. yes, you will be able to manage categories and subcategories and in fact anything else that you might wish :) 2. yes, here is a web-site that we ourselves built on top of Product Hunt clone template - - as you can see, there we used only social login buttons 3. once you are ready to host your app on your own domain you would need to subscribe to one of Bubble's paid plans, check out this page 4. modification support is not included in the price but we'll answer questions and provide advise on our forum as you can see here: 5. Hundreds of different use cases, one of the examples is Postman Collections (that i mentioned above), it can be used for hunting restaurants in your city/country, or for example to launch a Slack Bot Directory, or hunting Music Apps. I mean there are tons of ways to use this template. And it can also be translated to any language (or support multiple languages). Let me know if this helps or if you have any other questions :)

@vlad_larin @dkornyukhov @levon377 Thanks for the reply, it is interesting to know that I have to subscribe to Bubble's premium plans to host the project, can't it be hosted elsewhere? Is Bubble's personal plan enough to get started? Also, I hope I can use the template on multiple projects of mine once I purchase it - Is that correct?
LevonMaker@levon377 · Founder, Zeroqode & Bubblewits
@vlad_larin @dkornyukhov @adithya I'm afraid it cannot be hosted elsewhere. But the personal plan should be enough, And if you think about it, it's only $14/month. Which is comparable to many hosting plans while here you get not only a hosting but a fully managed solution. You will never have to worry about databases, servers, maintenance etc. Hosting on Bubble is actually free until you want to attach your own domain to your project. And yes, the template can be used on multiple projects.
