What do you think? …

Farzad Senart
Hi everyone šŸ‘‹ Lionel and I wanted to share with you our latest project. Privera. If you are like us, then you love using Google Analytics for measuring your audience. But you also stand for respecting users' privacy. That's why we built Privera. With Privera, you: šŸ’Ŗ continue using Google Analytics without breaking it (e.g., bounce rates, visits duration, etc.); šŸ•µļøā€ā™€ļø make collected data completely anonymized; šŸŖ get cookie consents out of the way; šŸ› comply with past, current, and future privacy laws. We provide an open-source community-edition for you to enjoy by yourself. It is serverless and ready to deploy via AWS CloudFormation. We also provide hosted version with a free tier. It uses a beefy entropy source to guarantee that anonymous data remains anonymous even in a post-quantum world. The free tier will remain free forever šŸ˜Ž. We crave feedback, so tell us what you think and ask us any questions. Farzad and Lionel

Great product! As the world gets better educated and more conscious about their presence on the internet things like anonymized analytics are awesome. Solid work

@rjriel87 Thank you so much for your kind words. We are definitely on the same page.

This will be the future! especially after the Facebook vs Apple dispute
Farzad Senart
@asadoo93 Thank you. I think also the industry as a whole is moving toward a more privacy-friendly future. Look at the latest developments in Firefox, the Privacy Community Group of the W3C, ... The status quo is changing for sure.

@fsenart well said. Looking to see how things will be in the 3-5 years. Privacy is king

Hopped on board Privera today and I'm really enjoying it so far – there is a bunch of competition in this space. It looks great. Congrats!
Farzad Senart
@suheyla_seker Thank you so much and welcome. Sure there is competition, and such a matter deserves it. We hope we can contribute to a more privacy-aware Internet. BTW, if you need anything while exploring Privera, please note that we are willing to help by any means. Contact us here, on Twitter, on GitHub... We really mean it :)

It seems an amazing idea guys... Good luck with your launch!

@marcogurnari Thank you so much

Hey guys, does it impact Google Ads too? The way it impacts on the Conversions ...
Farzad Senart
@andrea_angemi For now, we strip query strings entirely to have the highest level of privacy. And case by case, we will evaluate what is a threat or no for privacy. You can imagine in the future if Google Ads URL info is not a threat, then it can be forwarded to Google Analytics.

Hi guys, really great initiative. How would you make sure a normal browsing user can check you are actually respecting these standards? On my website I have many which are still pretty skeptical and investigate every tracker
Farzad Senart
@gullisc, thank you. You're right. This is a challenge by itself. We try to be very transparent on the technologies and algorithms we are using and the data we are parsing, collecting, and transmitting. The tracker, for example, can be audited entirely by anyone as it is open-source. The community edition is also very similar to what we have in the house. The most important difference resides in the industrial entropy sources we are using to make the generated random secure. Furthermore, we aim to be certified by different quality labels in the future as a guarantee for what we stand for. And last but not least, we hope the community will support our initiative.
