I built PrimaryVote.US to help people who have never voted in a primary realize the urgency to register to vote sooner than later. You can instantly see how many days there are left to register in every state, and of course, use your location to lookup your state. You can also share from every state page, and if you see a red number next to a state where you or any of your friends live, I implore you to press share so they can register to vote ASAP! As far as privacy goes, nothing is tracked or stored. I even got the lat/lon of every county in the US to compare with your current location so that I didn't have to use Google for reverse geocoding to find out what state you're in.
