Presscloud user here: I use press releases to announce product launches, campaigns, new features etc and send articles about those subjects to media contacts within my field (in my case: fashion, lifestyle, menswear). When those media publish your press release it helps me get my brand in the know with new audiences. I look at it as another part of our marketing mix!
