finally a caption tool that doesn't ship my audio off to some random server. tested it on a noisy interview clip and it actually kept up in real time, which i wasn't expecting for a fully offline setup.
Works straight out of the box on my Mac and the offline captions are surprisingly accurate for a local model. Wish it had a way to export the transcript as a text file though.
Being able to export the captions as a .srt file after playback would be super useful for editing or sharing clips with people who want transcripts later.

Ran a few local files through it and the offline captions were surprisingly snappy on my older laptop. Love that nothing leaves the machine.
