We are releasing v3.0 of our Figma Design System, introducing a more powerful theming foundation that enables deeper customization and scalable brand adaptation across your products.
To help you get started, the release includes two new example themes, Harvest and Retro, each available in both Light and Dark modes. These serve as reference implementations, showing how the system can be extended to create fully custom themes aligned with your brand.
This update is built on top of Preline UI v4.0 for the web, leveraging its variables and modes to define semantic design tokens. This creates a more consistent bridge between design and implementation, making it significantly easier to keep your product synchronized from Figma to production.
To demonstrate this in practice, we have also added five new templates: CMS, Agency, AI Chat, Coffee Shop, and Personal. These examples showcase real world applications of the system and are free to use and available now.
