Hello Product Hunt 👋 I am incredibly excited to announce the launch of pocket, a residential real estate marketplace that is solving the buying and selling problem. We've built a completely broker-less and transparent process that removes the costly inefficiencies of the brokerage model by giving buyers and sellers the tools they need to transact directly. pocket provides: - In-depth property and neighborhood data (historical and forecasted appreciation, school rankings, rental trends...) - Due diligence documents upfront (pre-inspection, title report, seller's disclosure...) - Seller Q+A - Crowd-sourced local area knowledge - Completely transparent offers (no more overbidding) - Buyer competition metrics (number of offers, average offer increase, frequency...) - Automated offer and acceptance paperwork - Buyer and seller dashboards that guide you through the buying/selling process - And much, much more! The catch? While selling is completely free, no listing costs or commissions, there is 1% buyers fee paid by the buyer when their offer is accepted.
