I was recently reading this interview with Indie Hackers' Courtland Allen (http://peopleofcolorintech.com/i...) and wanted to hunt POCIT's jobs board when I realised it had already been hunted! This is a great community for diverse people in tech, and a great source to find companies committed to inclusion in this space 🙌🏽

Hey, Product Hunt family! Ruth and I have created pocitjobs.com as a sister product to our media site peopleofcolorintech.com, which tells the stories of people of color within the tech industry. Our aim is not just to report these stories anymore, but to create new ones, by helping tech companies of all sizes find diverse candidates for their open roles. Let me know if you've got any questions! [P.S Thank you for all the love shown to our previous listing on here!] - Michael

Thanks, @abadesi! Great to be on here. We've currently have a range of amazing roles from Vox, Buffer, npm and Girls Who Code. Would love to know what we could do to improve :D

@michaelberhane_ Have you ever thought of including employer reviews like how Glassdoor do? Would be great for candidates to be able to share experiences of the recruitment process and whether working in the companies advertised feels inclusive.

@abadesi awesome idea!

@michaelberhane_ as a design job seeker, I've been enjoying the curated job opportunity listings - thanks for surfacing them. At the same time, I've been left with an empty feeling from POCIT Jobs: I've applied to a handful of roles through the platform but have not gotten any responses AT ALL. Like nothing. Radio silence. Perhaps enforcing some sort of Respect Policy or just Good Communication Hygiene Practices for the organizations doing the hiring would be a nice touch that would encourage me to continue to use the platform as a job seeker. In other news, I'm a big fan of your mission and effort. Don't stop!

@qaidj Hey! Thanks for your honest feedback and support. I think your idea about a policy is a great idea, and I'm going to see how we can implement something along those lines. We're a tiny bootstrapped organisation, so we need all the feedback from our community we can get to help build a better experience!
