Playrate

Hey everyone. I built Playrate because my game tracking was a mess. Steam library in one place, wishlists somewhere else, and random mental notes everywhere. I even had a long notes doc on my phone ranking my top 10 games. I wanted something like Letterboxd or MAL, but actually built for games. Playrate is basically the app I always wished existed for tracking my favorite games, and I hope you all have fun using it! The swipe discovery feature came from noticing I spend more time deciding what to play than playing. Swiping through recommendations lets me build a backlog fast, without overthinking it. On the tech side, it’s a React frontend, Node backend, PostgreSQL, and IGDB for the game data. It’s been a fun solo project to build and iterate on. I’d love feedback.
