Planela started from two frustrations I kept running into during planning poker sessions. First, most tools stop once a number is chosen. I wanted session summaries that let teams reflect on what actually happened — how votes differed, where alignment was missing, and how to improve the next session, not just finish the current one. Second, I often saw people voting without enough context. Planela keeps everyone focused on the same issue, so teams always know exactly what they’re estimating.
