@pivvi This solves a real friction point—the cognitive load of knowing which tool to switch to when you hit a wall is genuinely annoying. The no-account approach is smart too, since people often abandon tools mid-task rather than deal with signup friction. What's your logic for surfacing the 'Best, Next, and Backup' tiers—is it based on current rate limits, model quality, or some combination.

On the tier logic: it's a combination, weighted in a specific order. First, no-login — the top two picks are always ones you can use right now without signing up, because signup friction mid-task kills momentum. Second, reset type — we rank by how quickly a model frees up again (no-limit > soft cap > daily reset > rolling window). Third, task match — coding routes toward DeepSeek, writing toward Gemini, search toward Perplexity, etc. Model quality is baked in as a baseline filter, but it doesn't drive the ranking — a slightly weaker model that's available right now beats a better one that won't reset for hours.
Best = available now, no friction. Next = strong backup with minimal friction. Backup = worth a quick account if you're stuck.
