- Just like Windows' default image viewer on MacOS, where you can zoom in and out with the mouse wheel and switch between images with arrow keys. - Clean and minimalistic design. Only necessary elements are displayed, without any unnecessary distractions.
I noticed that many people, especially Windows users who recently switched to Mac, find it challenging to adjust to using macOS Preview or QuickLook for image viewing. They miss the familiarity of Microsoft Photos, where they could zoom in and out using the mouse wheel and switch between images with arrow keys and/or on-screen buttons.
To address this, I developed Picview, a macOS image viewer like Microsoft Photos. It is built using Swift, the native language for macOS development. Picview is compact, user-friendly, and highly responsive, with a small file size of only 7.1 MB, and you can download and use it for free from the App Store.
