Hi Product Hunt,
I started PickTests with a simple reaction-time test. I enjoy these small browser tests, but many of them feel cluttered or inconsistent, especially on mobile. I wanted to see whether they could be made simpler and more carefully considered.
As I continued building, the project gradually expanded to include aim, sequence memory, number memory, multiple-object tracking, and Stroop tests.
The test logic was usually the easy part. Most of the work went into smaller details: timing between rounds, touch and mouse interactions, feedback, result presentation, and deciding which features were actually worth keeping.
The project slowly changed from “build more tests” to “make each test worth keeping.” PickTests is still a small project, and I’m continuing to refine it based on how people actually use it.
I’d especially appreciate feedback on the mobile experience and whether the results feel clear after the first attempt.
