We built PerfectHire after hearing the same complaint over and over in recruiter interviews: companies are forced to hire very different roles through the same rigid ATS workflow. You don’t hire a CXO like you hire a frontline worker, but legacy systems treat them the same. That creates scheduling chaos, tool sprawl, poor visibility for hiring managers, and candidates dropping out because the process moves too slowly. Our approach evolved from “add AI to recruiting” into “fix the workflow first.” We started by deconstructing the ATS into the moments that actually break hiring (role setup, stages, handoffs, scheduling, follow-up, reporting) and rebuilt it around role-specific hiring paths with automation baked in. As we launched and got customers using it daily, we shifted from feature-building to outcome-building: reduce busywork, speed decisions, and stop candidate leakage, then layer AI/ML on top of real workflow data to keep improving over time.
